Everest and walking from alpine green forest to barren and arid terrain with ice and glaciers at Everest base camp with notorious Khumbu Ice Falls that tumbles down near at base camp.
After a great moment with much rest and preparations heading towards beautiful Imjatse valley for the climb of stunning Island Peak also known as Imjatse peak, an amazing mountains located in the midst of a huge Imjatse valley which is truly placed as an island.
Our expert team of staff and climbing guides will lead you to its summit top taking much safety and pre-caution measures for you to enjoy the thrill and spirit climbing to the summit at 6,160 m high with breath-taking panorama of mountains that surrounds you at the top.
The climb is undertaken after much rest and preparation the grade for Island Peak climb is PD + the classification used worldwide from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing System, the word PD + means ‘Per Diffcule’ a straight forward climb of some technical difficulty in some sections of the climb, where main and fix ropes required for safety.
Completing our goal and highlight on Island Peak climb with a walk to Everest base camp return journey is much pleasant on losing altitude every hour of the walk to reach at Lukla town for the scenic short flight back to Kathmandu, after an overwhelming and grand adventure on Island Peak Climb.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour and Island Peak preparation.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2,830 m & trek to Phakding 2,640 m – 04 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 05 hrs.
Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.
Day 06: Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m – 05hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche 4,260 m – 05hrs.
Day 08: Rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization and excursion.
Day 09: Trek to Lobuche 4,930 m – 05 hrs.
Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp 5,364 m and return to Gorakshep 5,180 m – 06 hrs.
Day 11: Hike to Kalapathar 5,545 m trek to Chhukung 4,730m – 06 hrs.
Day 12: Trek to Island Peak Base Camp 4,970m – 03 hrs.
Day 13: Climb to High Camp 5,400 m – 04 hrs.
Day 14: Climb to the Summit of Island Peak – 06 hrs.
Day 15: Spare and contingency day in case of unfavorable weather.
Day 16: Trek to Dingboche 4,260 m – 06 hrs.
Day 17: Trek to Thyangboche – 05 hrs.
Day 18: Trek to Monjo 2,860m – 06 hrs.
Day 19: Trek to Lukla – 04 hrs.
Day 20: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
Day 21: In Kathmandu free day with sightseeing tour.
