Mt. Manaslu stands at 8,163m and 26,781 ft high which is world’s 8th highest mountain with several satellite peaks Boudha Himal and Himal Chuli all in massive Manaslu Himalaya range, located on Nepal Mid North West Himalaya around remote areas of Gorkha districts.

Mt. Manaslu was first climbed in May 09th 1956 by Japanese team of Toshio Imanishi and Nepalese Gyalzen Norbu Sherpa, early trekkers around the area was explored by H.W. Tilman in mid 1950’s, the area was restricted for foreign travelers till 1990’s due to its close border with Tibet / China.

Manaslu is known as ‘Kutang’ in local language of Tibetan origin located on an old caravan trade route to Tibet.

Now Manaslu area has opened up the doors for your to visit this splendid hidden and high country full of beautiful scenery and culture, where our journey leads from Kathmandu with an overland drive towards mid hills and warm river valley at Arughat and then following the glacial Buri Gandaki River right up to its near source around high Manaslu valley within Sama and Samdo villages of interesting old traditional culture and way of life, as the walk enters into beautiful woodlands and soon fades on reaching a dry and arid mountain-scapes enclosed within Ganesh Himal and Manaslu range of peaks. 

After enjoyable walk and interesting time around villages of Jagat-Dyang-Lo and Sama Gaon and the last village of Samdo, then over scenic Larkya-la pass on the highest point of the adventure and then back into green forested areas reaching the low Manang areas at Dharapani for the drive back to Kathmandu, where this mesmerizing and wonderful Around Manaslu Adventure completes.

Day 02:            In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Day 03:            Drive to Soti-Khola 730 m via Arughat- 07 hrs
Day 04:            Trek to Machha-Khola 930m – 06 hrs
Day 05:            Trek to Jagat 1,410m – 06 hrs
Day 06:            Trek to Dyang 1,800 m – 06 hrs
Day 07:            Trek to Ghap 2,160 m – 04 hrs
Day 08:            Trek to Lo-Gaon 3,180 m – 06 hrs
Day 09:            Trek to Sama-Gaon 3,530 m – 05 hrs
Day 10:            Rest day at Sama-Gaon for acclimatization.
Day 11:            Trek to Samdo 3,860 m – 05 hrs
Day 12:            Trek to Dharamsala / Larkya phedi 4,470 m – 04 hrs
Day 13:            Cross Larkya-la 5,106 m and to Bimthang 3,720 m – 08 hrs.
Day 14:            Trek to Gho 2,560 m – 05 hrs
Day 15:            Trek to Dharapani 1,860 m – 06 hrs.
Day 16:            Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
Day 17:            International departure for home ward bound.
