Introductions:

Xtreme Climbers presents a unique adventure on top of world fourth highest Mt. Lhotse at 8,516 meters high within close range of Mt. Everest and Mt. Nuptse, and its satellite peak Lhotse Shar towards east.

Mt. Lhotse Expeditions will be one of the most thrilling and challenging climb to its summit top where you will be rewarded with breathtaking panorama of world highest peaks with Mt. Everest at just mere distance.

Mt. Lhotse one of the least climbed peaks compared with Everest, located south east from Everest the mountain can be climbed from Imjatse valley around Dingboche and Chhukung, but it leads to sheer vertical climb to its summit top.

The most common route is from Everest base camp using the same camp up to South Col, where the route splits as North West heads towards Everest summit, while the later directions leads south east towards the summit of Mt. Lhotse.

Mt. Lhotse Expeditions and the climb will be undertaken with much preparation checking foods-climbing gear and health of the climbers and with excellent logistic support required for a successful triumph to the summit of Mt. Lhotse, where the trek leads you with acclimatization days and practice on walk to Everest and Lhotse base camp.

 

A sweeping panoramic flight from Lukla brings you back at Kathmandu after an overwhelming adventure on Mt. Lhotse Expeditions.

Day 01:            Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02-03:       In Kathmandu preparations for Mt. Everest expeditions and optional tour.
Day 04:            Fly to Lukla 2,830 m & trek to Phakding 2,640 m – 04 hrs.
Day 05:            Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 05 hrs.

Day 06:            Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.

Day 07:            Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m – 05hrs.

Day 08:            Trek to Dingboche 4,260 m – 05hrs.
Day 09:            Rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization with short hike.

Day 10:            Trek to Lobuche 4,930 m – 05 hrs.
Day 11:            Trek to Gorakshep 5,170 m and climb to Kalapathar walk to Everest
Base Camp 5,364 m – 06 hrs.

Day 12-29:       (18 days) Ascent of Mount Lhotse and withdrawal to Base Camp.
Day 30-31:       All team-members are to re-group at the Base Camp.
Day 32:            Cleaning up of base camp with packing for return journey.
Day 33:            Trek to Pheriche 4,240m – 05 hrs.

Day 34:            Trek to Thyangboche – 05 hrs.
Day 35:            Trek to Namche Bazaar – 05 hrs.
Day 36:            Trek to Lukla – 06 hrs.
Day 37:            Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
Day 38-39:       In Kathmandu with to hand in reports to concern Government department.
Day 40:            International departure for home ward bound.

 

Cost and payment details

The cost is depending on group size, affected due to the requirement of number of guides and porters, requisite of Hotel in Kathmandu, method of land/air transport. The itinerary is changeable and modifiable as per needs and time frame of trekkers. Cost will be re calculated if the itinerary is changed or modified. Full Board Service Cost include

  • All arrival and departure transfer services to and from Airport both Domestic and International with other necessary surface transport (by Non A/C Vehicles) as per itinerary.
  • Assistance at the International airport by Xtreme Climbers representative while arriving and departing.
  • 5 Nights accommodations at 5*****Hotels in Kathmandu on B/B basis.
  • One day sightseeing in Kathmandu (Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Durbar Square).
  • Local English-speaking Tour Guide for sightseeing in Kathmandu.
  • Necessary staffs including experienced guides and porters during the trekking and climbing.
