Introduction:                

A unique and scenic cultural journey a fully loaded adventure around remote and isolated corners of far North West Himalaya into fascinating areas of Upper Mustang and High mountainous areas of above Manang valley at Nar & Phu.

Truly a mind blowing adventure where you can experience bliss in the serenity of mountain scapes within pure wilderness and in the harmony of local culture of ancient heritage visiting traditional Tibetan style villages of Upper Mustang and Nar & Phu regions in the shade of towering Bhirkuti and Damodar Himal.

Upper Mustang & Nar-Phu via Saribung pass, where few adventurer and trekkers has trekked around the far flung corners of North Western Himalaya with incredible views of giant peaks the encircles you on the incredible journey, away from main stream trekking trails, villages  and human habitations for a week.

Taking a super panoramic flight to land at Jomsom headquarter town of whole Mustang districts, located on the famous and ancient Trans Himalayan Salt Trade Route of Nepal-India and Tibet, the trade is still active through Karo-la pass at Upper Mustang.

Our walk leads beyond traditional and cultural villages of Kagbeni-Ghami and Tsarang located on high windswept Upper Mustang valley which is an extension of vast Tibetan Southern plateau.

Finally our walk leads to famed walled city and a former forbidden kingdom at Lo-Manthang with time to enjoy the local culture and custom around its large village within the high wall with views of Dhaulagiri-Bhirkuti and Damodar Himalayan peaks, and then our adventure leads towards remote north with a visit of interesting monasteries.

Our walk leads further north into complete wilderness crossing high passes near Bhirkuti and Damodar peaks and with time around holy Damodar Kund, a pristine glacial lake considered as sacred, where Hindu and Buddhist often visits on auspicious times.

As our adventure progress heading towards eastern direction through high pass of Saribung to reach at hidden areas of Nar and Phu above high Manang valley, after a strenuous and tough walks with time around Phu to enjoy the views and local culture, our adventure finally ends at nice Dharapani village, situate on famous and popular Annapurna circuit route and as well where around Manaslu trek meets.

A scenic and exciting drive back to Kathmandu concludes our mesmerizing adventure Upper Mustang & Nar-Phu via Saribung pass trekking with grand services and expert guidance of Xtreme Climbers guides and staff.

Day 03:            Drive to Pokhara 820m (220 k.m) – 06hrs.
Day 04:            Morning flight to Jomsom 2,715 and trek to Kagbeni 04 hrs.

Day 05:            Trek to Chele / Tshele 3,050 m – 06 hrs.

Day 06:            Trek to Geling 3,540 m -05 hrs.

Day 07:            Trek to Tsarang / Charang 3,560 m -06 hrs.

Day 08:            Trek to Lo-Mangthang 3,700 m – 05 hrs.

Day 09:            In Lo-Mangthang rest day for acclimatization and local visit.
Day 10:            Trek to Dhi Gaon 3,400 m – 05 hrs.

Day 11:            Trek to Luri Gompa 3,880 m – 05 hrs.

Day 12:            Trek to Ghuma Tanthi 4,600 m /15,092 ft – 06 hrs.
Day 13:            Trek to Batsyak Camp 4,880 m – 05 hrs.
Day 14:            Trek to Damodar Kunda via Batsyak-La 5,490 m – 05 hrs.
Day 15:            Trek to Khumjungar Glacier4, 535m near Sano Bhirkuti Himal.
Day 16:            Trek to Saribung Base Camp 4,940 m at Saribung-La pass 5,350 m – 05 hrs.

Day 17:            Rest day and acclimatization at Saribung base camp.
Day 18:            Cross Saribung pass at 5,350 m towards Nar-Phu area – 07 hrs.
Day 19:            Trek on route Phu and camp at 5,072 m at Layju Khola near Nagoru -05 hrs.

Day 20:            Trek to Phu Gaon 4,080 m /13,386 ft – 04 hrs.

Day 21:            Rest day at Phu valley for local exploration of the village.

Day 22:            Trek to Kyang 3,820 m – 05 hrs.
Day 23:            Trek to Dharmashala 3,230 m – 05 hrs.

Day 24:            Trek to Koto 2,670m – 05 hours.

Day 25:            Trek to Dharapani 1,860 m – 05 hours.

Day 26:            Drive to Kathmandu via Besisar – 07 hrs journey.

Day 27:            In Kathmandu free day at leisure.
