Itinerary

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon arrival, a representative from Xtreme Climbers will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After refreshments, there will be a detailed expedition briefing, an introduction to the climbing team, and a review of the overall program. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the lively streets of Thamel.

Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with your travel companions and organize your photos. A representative from Xtreme Climbers will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home, you'll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.

Cost includes

Airport Transfers: All ground transfers in Kathmandu, including airport pickup and drop-off.
Accommodation in Kathmandu: 3 nights 4**** Hotel in Kathmandu on a twin-sharing basis with breakfast.
Permits & Paperwork: The Api Himal Expedition climbing permit issued by the Department of Tourism, “DoT”. All national park, conservation, and Restricted area permits, TIMS card. Local authority fees and trekking region entry permits.
Accommodation During Expedition: Accommodation in teahouses during the trek, where available. Full-service tented camps during the Api Himal Expedition with high-quality mountaineering tents (North Face/Mountain Hardwear or Standard comfortable Box Tent) and foam mattresses.
Meals: All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea/coffee) during the trek and expedition period, and farewell dinners in Kathmandu with Xtreme Climbers Representatives.
Domestic Flight and Overland Transportation: One-way flight from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi and reserved private or local vehicles for the drive between Dhangadhi and Gokuleshwor as per the program and scheduled itinerary.
Climbing Sherpa Guide and Trekking Staff: Professional Climbing Sherpa guide and assistant climbing guide (1+1 Ratio). Skilled and well-experienced expedition cook and kitchen support assistants.
Climbing & Camping Equipment: Mountaineering gear required for the route opening, such as ropes, ice screws, snow bars, Rock Piton, including Base camp kitchen, dining, Shower, toilet tents, including tables, chairs, and utensils. For the Base Camp above high-altitude tents, Cooking sets, EPI gas, and High food.
Oxygen and Mask Regulator, Medical Kit: Exclusive medical kit bag including high-altitude medicines and an oxygen cylinder and Mask Regulator (for emergency use only).
Communication: Radio Walki-Talki for direct communication from B.C to Higher Camps-BC and Thuraya SAT phone carried by Climbing Sherpa Guide (NOTE: For members, USD 5 per minute) will be sent.
Staff Medical and Emergency Heli Eviction Insurance: Comprehensive insurance for all staff, including Medical and emergency helicopter rescue coverage.
Wages, Transportation, and Accommodation: Wages, food, equipment, accommodation, and transportation for the expedition team.
Government Taxes and office minimum S/C: All applicable local and government taxes.

Cost Excludes

Airfare: International flight airfare (from and to Kathmandu).
Nepal entry Visa fee: Nepal Visa fee USD 60 per person for 30 days (to be applied for 60 days USD 120). Please scroll below for the VISA application before or upon arrival link.
Lunch & Dinner: Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of an earlier return from Trekking / Expedition than the scheduled itinerary).
Extra: Extra nights' accommodation in Kathmandu/Nepalgunj. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary. Items of a personal nature, laundry expenses, and tips. Any extra expenses arising out of various/unforeseen situations like natural calamities, landslides, political disturbances, strikes, changes in government regulations, etc.
Extra transportation is then displayed in the itinerary program. Any additional staff other than those specified.
Insurance: Travel and high altitude insurance, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.
Rescue Evacuation: Medical Insurance and emergency rescue evacuation costs if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Medication, Medical Tests, and Hospitalization costs.)
Personal Expenses: Telephone, Internet, battery recharge, Hot shower, Laundry, any Alcoholic beverages & soft drinks (during the trek and in Kathmandu but we will serve all kinds of beverages for members in base camp), and also Clothing, Packing Items or Bags, Personal Medical Kit, Personal Trekking /Climbing Gears.
Filming: Special Filming, Camera, and Drone permit fee.
Internet Service: Internet services are not included in this cost.
Summit Bonus: Summit bonus for climbing Sherpa USD.1750 per person minimum (If the company offers Full Board Services).
Tips Base camp and Trekking: Calculate 10% of the total amount of tips for Base camp and Trekking staff.
Extra: Any other services or activities, which are not mentioned in the itinerary or any other items that are not listed in the “Cost Includes” section.
