Camp Details for Bhrikuti Himal 6361m Ski Expedition
Base Camp (4,800 meters / 15,748 feet)
- Location: Situated at the foot of Bhrikuti Himal, surrounded by rugged glacial terrain and offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks.
Facilities:
- Tented Accommodation: Spacious communal dining and sleeping tents equipped with insulated sleeping mats.
- Dining and Kitchen Tent: Equipped for meals and social gatherings, with fully organized seating and tables and a Separate tent for food preparation, with a portable stove and cooking equipment.
- Toilet Facilities: Basic sanitation facilities, including portable toilets.
- Safety Equipment: Includes a medical kit and communication devices for emergency situations.
- Purpose: Serves as the primary camp for acclimatization and preparation for the higher altitude climbs. The base camp is also where the team organizes equipment and reviews climbing strategies.
High Camp (5,600 meters / 18,372 feet)
- Location: Positioned on a flatter section of the glacier, close to the final ascent route to the summit.
Facilities:
- Tented Accommodation: High-quality tents The TNF Tents are for sleeping, providing protection from the harsh weather conditions at high altitudes.
- Dining and Kitchen Tent: A tent designated for meals and briefings, with a Minimalistic cooking setup due to the higher altitude, primarily focusing on quick high-energy, and hot meals.
- Toilet Facilities: Basic facilities, with minimal comfort due to the challenging conditions.
- Safety Equipment: Includes additional high-altitude medical supplies and emergency communication devices.
- Purpose: Acts as the staging point for the final push to the summit. The high camp is crucial for acclimatization and rest before the summit attempt.
Camp Setup and Management
- Equipment: All camps are equipped with high-quality, weather-resistant tents designed to withstand extreme conditions at high altitudes.
- Food and Water: Meals are prepared by the expedition cook and are tailored to high-altitude requirements. Water is treated and purified to ensure safety.
- Safety: The camp setup includes provisions for emergency situations, including first-aid supplies, communication systems for immediate assistance, and evacuation plans if needed.

- Insurance: Medical & Emergency rescue Insurance for all involved Xtreme Climbers staff during the trek and expedition.
- Oxygen Bootele (O2): Depending on grout size (3-4 Bottles of Oxygen bottles) will be in stock at base camp or camp above for emergency use.
- Mask & Regulator: Sets of Summit Oxygen masks & regulators will be in the base camp and camps above for emergency use.
- High Camp Service: High Altitude Tent, Necessary cooking EPI gas, cooking pot for a member, High food for a member, Sherpa, all climbing staff at BC and High CampGroup climbing gears, and fixed and dynamic rope during the climbing period as required.
- Technical climbing equipment and Rope Fixing: Shared technical climbing equipment, including Fixed and dynamic Ropes, ice screws, snow bars, and other necessary climbing gear. An experienced team of Sherpa will fix the rope to the summit. (No extra cost for members).

- Expedition Stuffs Transportation: Necessary all equipment Transportation for all Members and Staff from Kathmandu-Nepalgunj-Simikot (by jeep) and Base camp (by Porters/donkey) – While returning: Base camp to Simikot (by porters/donkey) and Simikot-Nepalgunj-Kathmandu (by Jeep or Air) as per scheduled programmed itinerary.
- Member Luggage: Up to 40.Kg per member for personal baggage during the trek carried by a porter or Mules or Donkey. NOTE: baggage is more than 40.Kg p/p will be charged an additional cost.
- Xtreme Climbers Duffel Bags / Sun Hat: 120.liter Duffle Bags for each Expedition Member and for the Trekkers 90. liter Duffel bags and Sun Hat will be provided. NOTE: Used Duffel bags need to be returned after Trek or Expedition.
- Lodging & Fooding: Food 3 meals a day (BDL, including Tea and Coffee) along with accessible accommodation at Hotel/Lodge/Tea house/Camp during the trek and Basecamp. Well-managed base camp set up for members & Staff.
- Equipment: All Necessary equipment for Camping during the trek and required (necessary fixed and dynamic main rope, ice bars, ice screws, snow bar, etc) during the climbing Ski expedition period.

- Heater: A heater for base camp will be provided if necessary if the number of climbers is above 4. pax
- Solar/Generator/Light: 1 Solar panel or Generator for battery charge and light at base camp for use.
- Base Camp and Camp Above: Each member will have an individual North-Face VE-25 tent in Base Camp. Base Camp Above High Altitude Tent (Sharing Basis), for both members and Sherpa. Necessary cooking EPI gas, Cooking Zetbowl Pot Set, High food for a member, and Sherpa. Group climbing gears, and fixed and dynamic rope during the climbing period as required.
- Communication: Radio Walkie-Talkie to communicate Base camp-Mountain-Base camp.
- SAT Phone: carried by Climbing Sherpa for emergency use only. For members (With an additional charge of USD.5 per minute).
- Weather Forecast: Weather forecast report during the entire expedition.
- Comprehensive Medical kit: A Comprehensive Medical kit will be provided for basic use only.
- SUMMIT CERTIFICATE: Bhrikuti Himal Ski Expedition certificate issued by MoCTCA (after successful ascent).
- Farewell Dinner: Farewell Dinner in a Tourist standard restaurant organized by Xtreme Climbers.
- Airfare: International flight airfare (from and to Kathmandu).

- Lunch & Dinner: Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of early return from Trekking / Expedition than the scheduled itinerary).
- Extra night in Kathmandu: Extra nights’ accommodation in Kathmandu. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
- Insurance: Travel and high-altitude insurance, accident, Helicopter medical & emergency evacuation. *Mandatory
- Rescue Evacuation: Medical and emergency rescue evacuation costs if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Helicopter, Medication, Medical Tests, and Hospitalization costs.)
