Dolpo, a mystical region of Nepal, is home to snow leopards and the ancient Bön faith. The region remained unmapped until the 1950s when British explorer John Baird Tyson made the first of a series of expeditions to the area. Kanjiroba massif Ski Mountaineering expedition we are going to explore the isolated part of the Himalaya range within Nepal, adjacent to the Tibetan border. Kanjiroba Himal is within the cross-border Shey Phoksundo National Park, Dolpa district, Nepal about 180 kilometers north-west of Pokhara city. The region is high mountains, cut into by glaciers and deep, precipitous river valleys.
Our expedition starts with flying into Juphal, making the approach on foot with Porter, Mules/Donkey support to a base camp, from where our Ski expedition begins. At base camp each person will have their own tent, “Two people One Tent” , and a Kitchen, Store, Toilitte, Hot shower, and dining tent fully stocked for relaxing and resting between Ski descents Where you will be served the best fresh meals by Xtreme Climbers Treks and Expedition's professional Kitchen Chef and supporting crew.

- Tent-based minimum 7 up to 14 days of backcountry skiing in the mystical region of Nepal, Himalayas.

- Explore and experience the very first-ever exploratory ski descent in the mystical Dolpo region of Nepal.
NOTE: For this ski touring and ski mountaineering trip you need to arrive with a Healthy level of cardiovascular fitness.
During the Ski decent expedition, you will be skiing a minimum of 1000 meters a day and this is best enjoyed with a training plan prior to arriving in Nepal.
- Arrival & Departure: Airport - Hotel transfers – Airport (Pick Up and Drop).

- Permit: Expedition Royalty and permit from Nepal government to Climb and Ski Mt. Kanjiroba 6883m. and other necessary permits.

- Garbage Management: Stool Shipment Transfer & Garbage Deposit fees.

- Expedition Stuffs Transportation:
- Kathmandu-Nepalgunj-Juphal-Kathmandu flight Transportation for all Climbing Sherpa Guide, Liaison officer
- Kathmandu- Nepalgunj bus transportation for kitchen staff.
- Entire Xtreme Climbers details facilities including: Kitchen tent, storage tent, dining tent, client tents, toilet tents, tables, chairs and cooking utensils for base camp and camps above Appropriate high altitude food for all clients and staff at base camp and above as required.
- Member Luggage: Up to 40.Kg per member for personal baggage during the trek carried by a porter or Yak.
- Xtreme Climbers Duffel Bags / Sun Hat: 120.litre Duffle Bags for each Expedition Member and for the Trekkers 90.liter Duffel bags and Sun Hat will be provided. NOTE: Used Duffel bags need to be returned after Trek or Expedition. NOTE: baggage more than 40.Kg p/p will be charged an additional cost.
- Lodging & Fooding: Food 3 meals a day (BDL, including Tea and Coffee) along with accessible accommodation at Hotel/Lodge/Tea house/Camp during the trek and Basecamp. Well-managed base camp set up for members & Staff.
- Equipment: All Necessary equipment for Camping during the trek and required (necessary fixed and dynamic main rope, ice bars, ice screws, snow bar etc) during climbing Ski expedition period.
- Rope Fixing: Experienced team of Sherpa will fix the rope to the summit. (No extra cost for members).
- Ropes: Fixed and dynamic Ropes as necessary with shearing all teams.
- Trekking Route Map: Trekking Route MAP will be provided
- Base Camp Staff: Experienced and well-trained Base camp Cook & kitchen Helpers as required.
- Staff Salary and allowance: All Nepalese staff & porters' daily wages, salaries, equipment, foods & clothing.
- Base Camp Equipment: At Base camp: foam mattresses and pillows per member, Dining, Kitchen, Dome Tet (for members), Toilet & Shower, Staffs Tent for Nepalese base camp staff, Store tents, Tables & chairs & all necessary cooking gear.
- Heater: Heater for base camp will be provided if necessary.
- Solar/Generator/Light: 1 Solar panel or Generator for battery charge and light at base camp for use.
- Base Camp and Camp Above: Each member will have an individual North-Face VE-25 tent in Base Camp. Base Camp Above: C1,C2 and C3 Tents for Members (Sharing Basis) and Climbing Sherpa. Base camp above High Food will be provided for everyone. We will also provide you with the EPI Gas and Small Cooking Pot Set carried by the Climbing Sherpa Guide for Hot drinks and meals.
- Communication: Radio Walkie-Talkie to communicate Base camp-Mountain-Base camp.
- SAT Phone: carried by Climbing Sherpa for emergency use only. For members (With an additional charge of $.5 per minute).
- Weather Forecast: Weather forecast report during the entire expedition.
- Comprehensive Medical kit: A Comprehensive Medical kit will be provided for Xtreme Climbers Staff use only.
- SUMMIT CERTIFICATE: Mt. Kanjiroba climbing certificate issued by MoCTCA (after successful ascent over Mt. Kanjiroba).
- Farewell Dinner: Farewell Dinner in a Tourist standard restaurant with Xtreme Climbers Staff.
- Airfare: International flight airfare (from and to Kathmandu).
- Nepal entry Visa fee: Nepal Visa fee USD 60 per person for 30 days (to be applied for 60 days (USD 120).
- Lunch & Dinner: Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of an earlier return from Trekking / Expedition than the scheduled itinerary).
- Extra: Extra nights accommodation in Kathmandu In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary. Items of a personal nature, laundry expenses, tips. Any extra expenses arising out of various/unforeseen situations like natural calamities, landslides, political disturbances, strikes, changes in government regulations, etc.
Extra transportation is then displayed in the itinerary program. Any additional staff other than specified.
- Insurance: Travel and high altitude insurance, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.
- Rescue Evacuation: Medical Insurance and emergency rescue evacuation costs if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Medication, Medical Tests, and Hospitalization costs.)
- Personal Expenses: Telephone, Internet, battery recharge, Hot shower, Laundry, any Alcoholic beverages & soft drinks (during the trek and in Kathmandu but we will serve all kinds of beverages for members in base camp), and also Clothing, Packing Items or Bags, Personal Medical Kit, Personal Trekking /Climbing Gears.
- Filming: Special Filming, Camera, and Drone permit fee.
- Internet Service: Internet services are not included in this cost.
- Summit Bonus: Summit bonus for climbing Sherpa $.650 minimum (If the company offers Full Board Services).
- Tips: Calculate some tips for Base camp staff.
- Extra: Any other services or activities, which are not mentioned in the itinerary.
- Any other item not listed in the “Cost Includes” section.
NOTE: Climbing Gears and Equipment belong to Xtreme Climbers used during Trekking / Expedition. Should return back to the company after completing the Trekking / Expedition.
