This expedition leads to Makalu Base Camp (5250 m), nestled within the Makalu Barun National Park and Conservation Area. The trek embarks with a flight to Tumlingtar, traversing the Arun River valley to Seduwa and Num, eventually crossing the Shipton La Pass (4210m) into the upper Barun River valley for a close encounter with Makalu and Chamlang Himal.
