Kanchenjunga base camp trekking, leads you to a spectacular country around the far eastern Himalaya of Nepal within the shade of mighty Khumbakarna Himalaya range of mountains where world 3rd highest Mt. Kanchenjunga at 8,586 m / 28,169 ft high is located and straddles the border between Nepal and Sikkim (a small state of North East India).
A fascinating adventure to Kanchenjunga base camps begins with a flight to Taplayjung and then Jeep drive to Kande Bhanjyang heading to higher, cooler alpine areas with variations of landscapes and scenery. during the long walks within high hills of villages of Kirat tribes known as Rai and Limbu and further higher where Sherpa and Bhotia people reside.
Walk leads first visiting Kanchenjunga South base camp through remote farm villages and dense deep forest and towards Yarlung glacier filled with moraine, ice and then heading further north with super views of Mt. Janu and other peaks of the Kanchenjunga range. Slowly our enters an arid dry country reaching at Pang-Pema at 5,065 m high within Kanchenjunga North Base Camp, here with time to explore the isolated and beautiful mountainous area facing massive fields of ice and glaciers, then heading back on an alternative route to reach at Sukhetar, where a scenic flight brings you back to Kathmandu after a magnificent adventure on Kanchenjunga North-South base camp trekking.

Way Up:-- Kathmandu to Bhadrapur by Air
- Bhadrapur to Taplayjung to Sekathum by private Four wheel Jeep ( 8.pax max per jeep).
- Sekathum to the North / South Base Camp (By Mule or Porters) as per the scheduled itinerary.
While returning:- - Kande Bhanjyang to Bhadrapur by private Four wheel Jeep (8.pax max per jeep).
- Bhadrapur to Kathmandu (by Air) as per itinerary.
- Trekking Sherpa Guide: Highly experienced government licensed trekking Sherpa Guide during entire trekking period
- Insurance: Medical & Emergency rescue Insurance for all involved staff during the trek period.
- Trekking Route Map. A Trekking Route Map will be provided.
- Accommodation : Accommodation at the best possible hotel/lodge/guest house during the entire trekking period.
- Member Luggage: Up to 15.Kg per member for personal baggage during the trek carried by Porters/Mules.
NOTE: Baggage more than 15.Kg p/p will be charged additional with appropriate cost. - Lodging & Fooding: 3 meals a day (BDL, including tea and coffee) along with accessible accommodation at Hotel/Lodge/Tea house/Camp during the trek and Basecamp. Well-managed base camp set up for members & Staff during the trekking period.
- Porter: Required numbers of porters till Kanchenjunga B.C & while returning back. NOTE: 1. Porter for two members (30.kg max) will be provided.
- Staff Salary and allowance: Equipment allowances and wages for all Nepalese staff & porters, daily wages, Trekking Sherpas Guide, Cooks, and Kitchen assistant, includes equipment, foods & clothing as per program.
- Communication: Radio Walkie Talkie and Thuraya Satellite phone carried by a guide for emergency communication. (SAT Phone available to clients at a cost of $5. USD per minute).
- Comprehensive Medical Kit Bag: Comprehensive medical kit Box will be provided for basic use only.
- TAX and Office Charges: Our service charge and government Taxes.
- Air Fare: International flight airfare (from and to Kathmandu).
- Nepal entry Visa fee: Nepal Visa fee US$ 60 per person for 30 days (to be applied for 60 days (USD$ 120).
- Sightseeing : Sightseeing around historical monuments and entrance fee.
- Extra night in Kathmandu and Lunch & Dinner: Extra nights accommodation and Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
