Timan La Pass, first explored in 1949 by a European explorer Major Harold William “Bill” Timan. Located in Langtang himalayan range of Nepal, Timan La Pass is one of the off the beaten trek of Nepal, offers stunning langshisha glacier, Sacred tranquil Panch Pokhari ``Five Lakes” and the extremely remote and still wetting for an opportunity to be explored Jugal Himal, which links the Himalayas Kanchenjunga in the east to Dhaulagiri to the west. Located in the upper Langtang region close to the border with Tibet and Nepal , Timan La 5350m Pass is the core of the Langtang Himalayan trails. 

Located to the north of Kathmandu Langtang is a motherland of Blue Sheep, Snow Leopard, Red Panda, Himalayan Black Bear, Musk Deer, Wild Goat, Thar, Bears, Jackal, Monkeys, wild peaks, wild boars, pheasant, peacock and many more… Presents panoramic Himalayan views of Langtang and Lirung, Langtang Himal, Naya Khanga, Yala peak, Ganesh Himal, Langshisha, Gaurishanker, Dorje Lakpa with Himalayan pine forest. This route is known as one of the best wilderness trekking routes of Nepal. It concludes the remote and wild part of the Himalayas. This area is also rich in flora and fauna.  During the trek as the trail goes through Langtang National Park. Crossing Tilman Pass (5320m) can get challenging as the trail is mostly frozen and susceptible to rock falls. After crossing Tilman La Pass, the trail reaches the tranquil lakes of Panchpokhari ``Five Lakes”, the 9th highest wetland area in the world. The trek then ends with a walk through the quiet forests until you reach Chautara. 

Starting Tilman Pass trek with a drive to Syabrubesi via Dhunche. Our trail passes through Lama Hotel to reach the oldest Tamang settlement “The Langtang Village'' Continuing the trail reaches the oldest monastery of Langtang in Kyanjin Gompa. Where we will be taking one day off for a side hike to Tserko-Ri (4984m) for a panoramic view of the Langtang Himal range, Langshisha Rai 6427m, Yala Peak 5500m.. Crossing Tilman La Pass 5320m. can get challenging as the trail is mostly frozen and susceptible to rock falls. After crossing Tilman Pass, the trail reaches the tranquil lakes of Panchpokhari, the 9th highest wetland area in the world. Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu [1300 m/4264 ft] Arrive at any time, Xtreme Climbers vehicle and represent we'll pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to the hotel. Your included activities consist of refreshments, introduction to your guide, as well as an introduction on The Trek.

Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with your travel companions and organize your photos. A representative from Xtreme Climbers will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home you'll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.

  • Nepal entry Visa fee: Nepal Visa fee US$ 60 per person for 30 days (to be applied for 60 days (USD$ 120).
  • Lunch & Dinner: Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of an earlier return from Trekking / Expedition than the scheduled itinerary).
  • Extra night in Kathmandu: Extra nights accommodation in Kathmandu & Pokhara. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
  • Insurance: Travel and high altitude insurance, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.
  • Rescue Evacuation: Medical Insurance and emergency rescue evacuation cost if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Medication, Medical Tests and Hospitalization costs.) Horse renting and additional porters during the trek.
