"Panch Pokhari" translates to "Five Lakes" in Nepali, referring to the five glacial lakes that dot the area. Situated at an altitude of around 4,100 meters (13,451 feet), these lakes are surrounded by stunning Himalayan landscapes and offer a serene ambiance for trekkers and pilgrims alike. The area is culturally significant for both Hindus and Buddhists, attracting visitors seeking spiritual solace and breathtaking views. After several days of exploration, we will arrive in Tarkeghyang just a few days ahead of the end of your trek and it is the very famous trekking route of Helambu. We can see local Nepalese villages mixed with Buddhists and Hindus in Kakani. After Kakani, we walk down to Melamchi Bazar from where we will drive back to Kathmandu.

Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu [1300 m/4264 ft] Arrive at any time, Xtreme Climbers vehicle and represent we'll pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to the hotel. Your included activities consist of refreshments, an introduction to your guide, as well as an introduction to The Trek.

Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with your travel companions and organize your photos. A representative from Xtreme Climbers will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home you'll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.

  • Land Transportation: Airport / Hotel / Airport pick up & transfer by Car / Jeep / Van as per group size.
  • Hotels Accommodation: 2 nights accommodation with breakfast at 3* to 5*hotel in Kathmandu as per your request and scheduled itinerary.
  • Land (4WD) private or local reserved Transportation During Trek: Kathmandu-Chautara (25. km) Melamchi Bazar to Kathmandu via 4WD Wheeler private Jeep drive or Local bus transportation as per scheduled program and Itinerary.
  • Meals: 3 Times Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) with Tea & coffee and hot water during the entire trek.
  • Guide / Porters: Government-licensed guide and necessary porters during the trek.
  • Communication: Radio walking Talki and between Team leader and Trekking Guide as well ONE Thuraya SAT Phone will be provided for (Emergency use only) For members ($ 4 per minute)
  • Insurance: Insurance of the entire local supporting team is required during the Trek.

  • Nepal entry Visa fee: Nepal Visa fee is US$ 60 per person for 30 days (to be applied for 60 days (USD$ 120).
  • Lunch & Dinner: Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of an earlier return from Trekking / Expedition than the scheduled itinerary).
  • Extra night in Kathmandu: Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu & Pokhara. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
  • Insurance: Travel and high altitude insurance, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.
  • Rescue Evacuation: Medical Insurance and emergency rescue evacuation cost if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Medication, Medical Tests, and Hospitalization costs.) Horse renting and additional porters during the trek.
  • Personal Expenses: Telephone, Internet, battery recharge, Hot shower, Laundry, any Alcoholic beverages & soft drinks (during the trek and in Kathmandu but we will serve all kinds of beverages for members in base camp), and also Clothing, Packing Items or Bags, Personal Medical Kit, Personal Trekking /Climbing Gears.
