Ramdung or Ramdung-Go 5925m Peak Bordering with Khumbu, and the gigantic Rolwaling valley, located south of the Tashi Labtsa 5,930m pass, the peak was first explored by Bill Murray in 1952, leading the Scottish Himalayan Expedition Team. And the second ascent was made in 1955 by members of Merseyside. Expedition Following the Ramdung glacier from the Na village, the first-day hike to in front of the Yalung Ri Basecamp and another day we have to pass the Yalung la (5,310m/17,421ft), a pass giving access to the upper Rolwaling from the south, via the Khare Khola and Reach in the Ramdung High camp.
Ramdung-Go 5925m Peak climbing via Northeast Face from the Yalung La is technically difficult and straightforward lies in minor elevation as compared to Parchamo Peak 6187m. Most parties require two high camps [Camp One 4850m below Yalung La and the Snow camp Two placed on the broad glacier slopes east of the pass] for the ascent. From here climbing till the top takes about a 4-5 hour climb to the top. For the safety of our clients Xtreme Climbers climbing Sherpa guide (Everest Summiteers) will fix the entire safety lines in required places during climbing and will be close taking care of you. The summit of Ramdung-Go lies in its magnificent position from where we will have a splendid summit panorama that ranges from Langtang to Everest and provides a splendid view of Gauri Shankar 7134m and Melungtse 7181m.
After the ascent of Ramdung-Go our path continued across the magnificent Tashi Lapcha pass (5,755m/18,875ft) to Namche Bazaar 3440m. [Capital of Sherpa] on the Everest Base Camp route. From Namche we can continue our walk to Everest Base Camp or trek directly to Lukla to catch our flight back to Kathmandu depending on the scheduled Itinerary.
