Day 01 - Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) Kathmandu: Arrival in Kathmandu [1300 m/4264 ft] Arrive at any time, Xtreme Climbers vehicle and represent we'll pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to the hotel. Your included activities consist of refreshments, an introduction to your guide, as well as an introduction on The Trek. Meal includes:Breakfast
Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla (Flight) and Trek to Phakding: Start with an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m), a thrilling journey that takes approximately 30 minutes. From Lukla, begin a scenic trek through the Dudh Koshi Valley to reach Phakding (2,610m). This moderate hike serves as a warm-up for the days ahead and allows some initial acclimatization.

Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar: After breakfast, continue trekking toward Namche Bazaar (3,440m), the gateway to the Everest region. Today’s trek includes crossing several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River and entering Sagarmatha National Park. The trail is challenging but rewarding, with increasingly beautiful views of the surrounding peaks. Arrive in Namche Bazaar and spend the evening exploring this famous Sherpa town.

Day 04: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar and Hike to Kwangde Base Camp: Spend the morning acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar, with an optional hike to nearby viewpoints. After lunch, trek to Kwangde Base Camp (approx. 3,800m), a 3-4 hour trek. The base camp offers panoramic views of Thamserku, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan giants, creating a perfect setting to prepare for the ice climbing ahead.

Day 05: Ice Climbing Training and Initial Climb at Kwangde Waterfall: Begin with an in-depth training session led by an experienced guide, covering ice-climbing techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use. After the training, practice ice climbing on the beginner-friendly routes at the waterfall. Spend the day honing your skills and getting familiar with the ice walls. Return to camp in the evening.

Day 06: Full-Day Ice Climbing on Kwangde Waterfall: After breakfast, embark on a full day of ice climbing, tackling more challenging routes at Kwangde Waterfall. Your guide will assess your skill level and recommend suitable climbs, ranging from WI3 to WI5 routes. Enjoy an intense day of climbing, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. In the late afternoon, return to camp to rest and celebrate the day’s achievements.

Day 09: Final Departure, Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with your travel companions and organize your photos.
