Ice climbing routes are notoriously high, and located at various stages throughout the ridges of the Himalayas, The terrain of Nepal is a challenging objective for Ice and Rock climbers of all skill levels. Requires some pretty chilly conditions, and few places are as thrilling and cold as the high Himalayas. The climbs follow the flow of the stream, with sections that are easy to walk up with minimal protection, punctuated by waterfalls that have created vertical walls of ice. From Langtang and Everest, all the way east to Kanchenjunga and center to Rolwaling the country known for its accommodating attitude towards climbers will provide the best conditions and environment for the winter ice and rock climbing adventure of a lifetime.
Located in the heart of Khumbu Valley surrounded by many glittering front-standing views of the world's highest 8000, 7000, and 6000m peaks, Xtreme Climbers “Winter Pre-Ice and Rock Climbing Course” training/climbing, will be provided under the leadership of world-class expertise. Who has been in this field and profession for more than decades and has made several dozen summits over many 6 / 7 and 8000m Giants walls including many summits on the Top of the World's Highest Mt. Everest 8,848.86m. Beautiful clear Sunny days and the sight of wild animals and the creeping of wild birds around hiking trails, make this adventure a fun point and unforgettable experience of a lifetime. Many unclimbed Ice flows have not been discovered around the Khumbu region and opportunities for further exploration abound.

Day 01 - Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) Kathmandu: Arrival in Kathmandu [1300 m/4264 ft] Arrive at any time, Xtreme Climbers vehicle and represent we'll pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to the hotel. Your included activities consist of refreshments, an introduction to your guide, as well as an introduction on The Trek. Meal includes:Breakfast
Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2,840m), Trek to Phakding (2,610m) – 3 hours
- Activities: Early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (approx. 30 minutes). From Lukla, begin a scenic trek down to Phakding through forests, past rivers, and Sherpa villages.
Overnight / Included Meals: Lodge in Phakding / Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – 6 hours
- Activities: Cross multiple suspension bridges and hike through pine and rhododendron forests, passing the villages of Monjo and Jorsalle. Enter Sagarmatha National Park and ascend steep trails to Namche Bazaar, with initial glimpses of Mt. Everest and Lhotse.

Day 04: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Phortse (3,810m) – 5 hours
- Activities: Hike along scenic trails with views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and the Khumbu Valley. Pass through beautiful rhododendron forests and spot Himalayan wildlife like musk deer and pheasants.

Day 05: Rest Day in Phortse – Climbing Gear and Safety Workshop
- Activities: A reserve day for knowledge exchange with expert climbers. Learn about essential climbing gear, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance to ensure a safe ice-climbing experience.

Days 06–09: Pre-Ice Climbing Course – Practical Training on Ice Climbing Techniques

- Day 6: Introductory climbing techniques and basic rope work.
- Day 7: Climbing maneuvers, ice tool techniques, and foot placement.
- Day 8: Vertical climbing practices, ice screw placements, and anchors.
- Day 9: Review and refining Ice climbing techniques.

Days 10–11: Rock Climbing Course – Advanced Techniques and Conditioning

Day 12: Trek from Phortse to Monjo (2,835m) – 5 hours
- Activities: Descend through lush forests and cross suspension bridges, retracing steps through Khumbu villages while enjoying scenic mountain views.

Day 13: Trek from Monjo to Lukla (2,840m) – 5-6 hours
- Activities: Enjoy a leisurely trek back to Lukla, passing familiar trails and savoring the last views of the Dudh Koshi River and surrounding peaks.
Overnight / Included Meals: Lodge in Lukla / Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 14: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu and Farewell Dinner
- Activities: Morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. Rest of the day at leisure for exploring Kathmandu. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner organized by Xtreme Climbers, celebrating the adventure and sharing experiences.

Day 15: Final Departure, Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with your travel companions and organize your photos. A representative from Xtreme Climbers will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home you'll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal. Included meals:Breakfast

- Lunch & Dinner: Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of an earlier return from Trekking / Expedition than the scheduled itinerary).
- Extra night in Kathmandu: Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu & Pokhara. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
- Insurance: Travel and high altitude insurance, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.
- Rescue Evacuation: Medical Insurance and emergency rescue evacuation costs if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Medication, Medical Tests, and Hospitalization costs.) Horse renting and additional porters during the trek.
- Personal Expenses: Telephone, Internet, battery recharge, Hot shower, Laundry, any Alcoholic beverages & soft drinks (during the trek and in Kathmandu but we will serve all kinds of beverages for members in base camp), and also Clothing, Packing Items or Bags, Personal Medical Kit, Personal Trekking /Climbing Gears.
