The Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is one of the most remote and spectacular trekking adventures in Nepal, circling the mighty Dhaulagiri massif (8,167 m), the seventh-highest mountain in the world. This expedition-style trek takes you through lush forests, deep river gorges, alpine meadows, glaciers, and high Himalayan passes before descending into the famous Kali Gandaki Valley.

Unlike the more commercial trekking routes in Nepal, the Dhaulagiri Circuit remains wild and untouched, offering trekkers a genuine wilderness experience. The journey gradually ascends from the subtropical valleys of the Myagdi River to the icy landscape of Dhaulagiri Base Camp, before crossing the dramatic French Pass (5,360 m) into the mystical Hidden Valley.

Trekkers are rewarded with spectacular close-up views of Dhaulagiri I, II, III, IV, V, Tukuche Peak, Dhampus Peak, Nilgiri, and Manapathi, along with massive glaciers and remote high-altitude valleys.

The adventure concludes in the beautiful Thakali village of Marpha, famous for its apple orchards and traditional Himalayan culture, before returning to Kathmandu.
