Ratna Chuli, standing at 7,128 meters, is located in the remote and rugged Nar-Phu region of the Nepalese Himalayas. Mt. Ratna Chuli (7128m) Climbing is the highest technical peak in the Peri Himal NW of the Manaslu Himal. Situated above the Tibetan village of Phu in the western region, Manang District between the border of Nepal and Tibet (China) in the north of the Annapurna and Manaslu region. lies in a ridge running in a west-east direction, which forms the state border and the watershed between Yarlung Tsangpo in the north and Marsyangdi in the south. 11,83 km to the west is the 6889m high Lugula Himal. The next highest mountain, the 7126 m high Himlung Himal, is 11.27 km southeast. Ratna Chuli was first ascended in 1996 by a Japanese-Nepalese joint expedition team.
Ratna Chuli 7128m Climbing and Trekking Itinerary will go through Marsyangdi valley of Lamjung to “Upper Manang'' High Himalayan land, which lies to the Tibetan border and is home of different ethnic people such as Tibetan, Manage, Bhote, and Lama who has and follows their own Himalayan Culture, tradition and lifestyle. Since the first opening of the Nar-Phu Valley of western Nepal in 2000, there have been very few mountaineering expedition teams that have entered this valley to climb Mt. Ratna Chuli 7128m requires careful planning and a well-coordinated approach.

Base Camp
- Location: The Base Camp is usually set up at an altitude of around 4,900 meters. It is established in a safe and convenient location, often in a valley or on a moraine.
- Facilities: The base camp is well-equipped with tents for sleeping, a dining tent, a kitchen tent, and sometimes a communication setup. It serves as the main hub for rest and acclimatization.
- Activities: Acclimatization hikes in the surrounding area, gear organization, and preparation for higher camps.
Camp I
- Location: Camp I is typically established at an altitude of around 5,700 meters.
- Facilities: Tents for sleeping and a small kitchen tent. Limited facilities due to the altitude.
- Activities: Acclimatization and preparation for higher camps. Climbers spend time adjusting to the higher altitude.
Camp II
- Location: Camp II is usually set up at around 6,300 meters.
- Facilities: Basic camping setup with tents for sleeping and minimal kitchen facilities. The focus is on essential equipment only.
- Activities: Further acclimatization and preparation for the summit push. Climbers ensure all gear is ready for the final ascent.
Camp III (Optional)
- Location: Depending on the climbing strategy and conditions, an additional camp may be set up at around 6,700 meters.
- Facilities: Minimal setup with just essential gear to reduce the load for the summit push.
- Activities: Final rest and preparation before the summit attempt. Climbers spend a very short time here to conserve energy.
Summit Push
- Route: The final ascent to the summit involves technical climbing, including snowfields, ice walls, and rocky sections. The route can vary depending on conditions and team strategy.
- Timing: Climbers usually start the summit push early in the morning, around midnight or 1 AM, aiming to reach the summit by early morning and return to lower camps by afternoon.
- Descent: After reaching the summit, climbers descend back to Camp II or Camp I for rest and recovery.
