Explored in the 1950s, by a large French Expedition group who have dreamed of climbing via Annapurna North Base Camp this route was first completed by Reinhold Messner and Hans Kammerlander In 1985. Located in Annapurna Conservation Area geographically to the west of Tilicho Lake and North of Annapurna Base camp, both are blocked by large mountains. The route is used only by the Annapurna Expedition groups. Covered with brown covered gray sand and scattered strands of grass, Leaving behind Miristi Khola approximately about Two and Half Hours The first French Base Camp (4190m) is in a perfect beautiful  location at the right foot of the North Annapurna Glacier next to a beautiful glacial lake with an spectacular large canvas of Nilgiri to Tilicho Peak. From the first French Base Camp there was a good view of the rocky north Annapurna glacier leading to the icefall that curves around leading to the north face of Annapurna. Due to the difficult technicality of the route very few trekkers have done this trail during previous years to the North Annapurna Base Camp.
