Dhampus village (1750m) Trek leads to immerse you into the beauty of the peaceful life of the countryside and offers you a close view of the villager’s lifestyle. a traditional village located in Kaski District, within the Annapurna Himalayas. Hikes there start early, with a drive to Phedi, about 45 minutes from Pokhara. Right at the beginning we were rewarded by the view of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) glowing shades of yellow and orange in a mesmerizing display of sunrise. Situated in the north part of Pokhara Valley. After a 2 hrs trek, we will reach Australian Camp, from where we can see far Pokhara city and a Caravan of green hills. After an easy walk of 2 hrs through the Teak jungle, we will enter Dhampus village. Where villagers will greet their guests in their traditional way.

Trekking in Dhampus is ideal for those willing to experience the mountaineering adventure and ethnic tribe at the same time in a short period. After a 6/7 hour drive to Pokhara or Half an hour flight to Pokhara Airport, The Next Day, we will drive to Phedi and hike up to Dhampus. The trail is guided by a steep and amazing route with an incredible backdrop view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, and Lamjung Himal on the northern horizon. Dhampus hiking is also blessed with an outstanding view of the massive Annapurna Himalaya ranges.

Itinerary

Arrive at any time, Xtreme Climbers vehicle and represent we'll pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to the hotel. Your included activities consist of refreshments, an introduction to your guide, as well as an introduction to The Trek.

Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! There is nothing to do but trade emails with your travel companions and organize your photos. A representative from Xtreme Climbers will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home you'll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.

  • Extra night in Kathmandu and Lunch & Dinner: Extra night accommodation and Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
