It is a challenging but rewarding climb to the top. Offering a variety of existing routes and a world-class view of Mt. Everest 8,848m. Lobuje is an attractive trekking peak. From the top, you get breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Pumori.
The peak has two sides to have a summit—the east edge (6,119 m) and the west edge (6,145 m). The east edge is recognized especially as a trekking peak, whereas the west is known as an Expedition Peak. During this peak, climbing will give amateur climbers and explorers the opportunity to trek and climb a wide variety of existing routes as well as new challenging climbing routes. Also, have an opportunity to have magnificent views of the Himalayas lying around. One of the attractions of the peak is that one can have an opportunity to have views of hundreds of other peaks in the area including Mt. Everest 8,848m., and Mt. Lhotse 8,516m. , Mt. Nuptse 7,861m, Mt. Makalu 8,481m, Mt. Ama Dablam 6,816m., Khangtenga 6,782m. and Tawache 6,542m. among others. As you climb to the southern Base Camp at an altitude of 5,516 meters, The superb views from Mt. Lobuche make it one of the most quintessentially popular Himalayan trekking peaks, despite its difficulty level being a bit more challenging than that of nearby Island Peak. From the summit, you'll be able to gaze out at mighty Everest, as well as several peaks on the Tibetan side of the Rongbuk. It's an experience you'll treasure for a lifetime.

Lobuche Climbing / Summit Route Details:
Lobuche Village to Lobuche High Camp: However, depending on the individual fitness level, Acclimatization status, and weather conditions, it takes around 4-5.hrs From Lobuche village to Lobuche high camp (5400m) through Lobuche BC (5200m). The trail involves ascending steep slopes and rocky terrain and altitude gain from Lobuche village to High Camp.
High Camp to Summit 6119m: To take advantage of stable weather conditions and avoid afternoon wind, snowfall, and avalanches, high Camp to Summit typically begins in the early morning hours. Climbers negotiate a mix of rock, snow, and ice using crampons, Ice axes, and ropes as necessary. The final section of the climb involves a steep snow slope leading to the summit.
- Arrival & Departure: Airport - Hotel transfers – Airport (Pick Up and Drop).
- Permit: Climbing / Entrance / National park Permit: Lukla VDC entrance permit, NMA Climbing permit of Lobuche East 6119m and Sagarmatha National Conservation area entry and other required necessary permits.
- Member transportation:
Overland Transportation: Kathmandu-Ramachap-Kathmandu (142.km 3-4 hrs) By Jeep, Car, or Van as per group and scheduled itinerary.
Domestic AIR Transportation: Fly from Ramechhap-Lukla-Ramechhap (15. minutes) as per the scheduled itinerary.
- Expedition Stuffs Transportation: Necessary all equipment Transportation for all Members and staff from Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu (by Air) and from Lukla to Base camp (By Porters or Yak/Mules as per schedule itinerary).
While returning: B.C-Lukla (By Yak/Porters as per scheduled itinerary) and Lukla to Kathmandu (by small aircraft) as per itinerary.
- Garbage deposit and Management: Required necessary Garbage Deposit and management will be made on behalf of the company.
- Insurance: Medical & Emergency Heli rescue Insurance for all involved staff during the trek and expedition.
- Member Luggage: Up to 15.Kg per member for personal baggage during the trek/expedition carried by a porter. NOTE: baggage more than 15.Kg p/p will be charged extra additional cost at the Airport.
- Lodging & Fooding: Food 3 meals a day (BLD; including tea and coffee) along with accessible accommodation at the Lodge/Tea house/Camp during the Trek, Basecamp and Camp above.
- Climbing Sherpa Guide: Highly + Technically experienced 1 climbing Sherpa Guide (Everest Summiteers) for Lobuche Climbing for each member as per the scheduled itinerary.
- Porter: Two Member 1 porter (30.kg max per person) Lukla-Mountain-Lukla
NOTE: Requiring an extra porter will cost an additional amount.
- At Base Camp and Camp above:
- For Climbing Lobuche: At BC or high camp: VE-25 North-Face (Shearing) Tent, Mattresses, and Pillows per member will be provided.
- Base camp Staff: Base Camp will be set only if bigger group or members more than 5. pax
- Base Camp and camp above equipment: 2 Member VE-25 North-Face Tent sharing basis: 1 Toilet & 1 Staffs Tent, 1 Tent for Nepalese base camp staff, and necessary cooking gear such as Kofel sets for BC and Camps above EPI Gas will be provided if bigger group or members more than 5. pax
- Heater and Solar/Generator/Light: For bigger groups or members of more than 5. pax
- Staff Salary and allowance: All Nepalese staff, Climbing Sherpa Climbing + Daily wages including Porters and Yak daily wages, salaries, equipment, and food as per programmed Itinerary.
- Xtreme Climbers Duffel Bags / Dust Proof Face Mask / Sun Hat: 120.liter Duffle Bags for each Expedition Member and for the Trekkers 90. liter Duffel bags (2. Trekkers 1 Duffel Bags) Dust Proof Face Mask and Sun Hat will be provided. NOTE: Used Duffel bags need to be returned after Trek or Expedition.
- Map / Medical kit Box: Trekking Route Map and Comprehensive Medical kit for basic use only.
- Certificate: Lobuche 6119m Peak climbing certificate issued by NMA (after climbing all mountains successfully).
- Farewell Dinner: Farewell Dinner in a Tourist standard restaurant organized by Xtreme Climbers.
- XTREME CLIMBER’S Charges: Government TAX / VAT and Office minimum Service Charges.
- Airfare: International flight airfare (from and to Kathmandu).
- Nepal entry Visa fee: Nepal Visa fee USD 60 per person for 30 days (to be applied for 60 days (USD 120).
- Hotel Accommodation In Kathmandu / Lunch & Dinner: Hotel Accommodation in Kathmandu and Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of an earlier return from Trekking / Expedition than the scheduled itinerary).
- Extra night in Kathmandu: Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu & Pokhara. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
- Insurance: Travel and high altitude insurance, accident, medical & emergency evacuation.
- Rescue Evacuation: Medical Insurance and emergency rescue evacuation costs if required. (Rescue, Repatriation, Medication, Medical Tests, and Hospitalization costs.)
- Personal Expenses: Telephone, Internet, battery recharge, Hot shower, Laundry, any Alcoholic beverages & soft drinks (during the trek and in Kathmandu but we will serve all kinds of beverages for members in base camp), and also Clothing, Packing Items or Bags, Personal Medical Kit, Personal Trekking /Climbing Gears.
- Filming: Special Filming, Camera, and Drone permit fee.
- Internet Service: Internet services are not included in this cost.
- Summit Bonus: The Summit bonus for climbing Sherpa USD 400. minimum
- Tips: Calculate some tips for Base camp and supporting staff.
- Extra: Any other services or activities, which are not mentioned in the itinerary or not listed in the “Cost Includes” section.
NOTE: Climbing Gears and Equipment belong to Xtreme Climbers used during Trekking / Expedition. Should return back to the company after completing the Trekking / Expedition.
