Into the Unknown: A Historic First Ascent

On 21st September 2025, our experienced expedition team departed from Kathmandu with a singular mission: to achieve the first ascent of Mt. Pathibhara (6868m) via the challenging South-East face, a route that has never before felt the touch of climbers’ crampons or fixed ropes.

Mt. Pathibhara, located in the eastern Himalayan region of Nepal, stands as an iconic peak in mountaineering history, revered not only for its religious significance but also for its unseen technical challenges and unexplored ridges. This expedition marks a bold step into uncharted alpine territory, combining high-altitude endurance, technical climbing, and pure exploration.

Expedition Highlights:
● First Ascent Attempt: The team aims to chart a completely new route on the South-East face.
● Duration: 35–45 days, covering the journey from Kathmandu to base camp, summit, and back.
● Team Expertise: Led by highly experienced high-altitude guides and Sherpas, bringing decades of Himalayan expedition knowledge.
● Climbing Style: Alpine approach with fixed ropes where necessary, carrying all technical gear to navigate the unclimbed route.

Every step of the journey, from Kathmandu logistics, base camp setup, high camp rotations, to summit push, has been meticulously planned for safety and efficiency.
