𝐗𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐤𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐏𝐯𝐭. 𝐋𝐭𝐝. proudly announces the successful first ascent of 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚 (𝟔,𝟔𝟖𝟔𝐦), 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡-𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 located in the Kanchenjunga–Taplejung region of Eastern Nepal. The historic ascent was achieved on 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, 𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟑:𝟓𝟎 𝐡𝐫𝐬 (𝐍𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞) by a fi ve-member international climbing team under the leadership of 𝐌𝐫. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐧á𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞.

On 21st September 2025, our experienced expedition team departed from Kathmandu with a singular mission: to achieve the first ascent of Mt. Pathibhara (6868m) via the challenging South-East face, a route that has never before felt the touch of climbers’ crampons or fixed ropes.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation of Nepal has introduced the "Bill to Amend and Consolidate Prevailing Laws Related to Tourism, 2081 (2025)" to reform the tourism sector, with a particular focus on mountaineering regulations. This legislation, proposed on 18 April 2025, addresses the shortcomings of the Tourism Act, 2035 (1978), which has been unable to regulate the evolving tourism industry effectively. The bill aims to enhance tourist safety, promote sustainable development, and ensure the sector’s contribution to the national economy.

A powerful and inspirational moment unfolded today in the heart of the Himalayas, as a remarkable Father and Son duo successfully reached the summit of Mt. Lobuche East (6,119m), marking a historic milestone not only in mountaineering but also in the global movement for Autism Awareness and Inclusion.

After weeks of meticulous route-setting, high-altitude acclimatization, and technical rotations, the Xtreme Climbers “Fastco Sharphu IV (6,433m) First Ascent Expedition” seized a perfect weather window to launch their final summit push. Braving subzero temperatures and treacherous mixed terrain of ice, rock, and snow, the team navigated the formidable slopes of Sharphu IV, overcoming extreme challenges with unwavering determination.

In a landmark move to enhance safety and professionalism in high-altitude mountaineering, the Government of Nepal has introduced significant regulatory reforms through the newly proposed Tourism Bill 2081. The bill, recently registered in the National Assembly, introduces stricter eligibility requirements and operational guidelines for climbers and adventure tourism operators across the country.

Among the most consequential provisions of the 2025 Tourism Bill is the newly introduced eligibility criterion for Mount Everest expeditions. Under the revised permit system, climbers must present a verified summit certificate of a minimum 7,000-meter peak within Nepal to qualify for an Everest permit.

In the winter season of 2026, an adventurous couple from Sydney, Australia, embarked on a remarkable Himalayan journey, combining technical ice climbing in the Khumbu with the legendary trek to Everest Base Camp.

As the Spring 2026 season begins, the Government of Nepal has introduced a series of updated regulations aimed at improving expedition safety, environmental responsibility, and overall logistical efficiency on Mount Everest. These changes represent a significant shift toward greater accountability for every climber on the mountain.

Xtreme Climbers Treks & Expeditions successfully conducted a 4-Day / 3-Night Rock Climbing Program at Hattiban Rock Climbing Area from 15 April to 18 April 2026. This professionally designed short-duration program was tailored for a solo climber seeking focused technical training and practical rock climbing experience prior to a high-altitude trekking objective.

The Summit Route to the South Side of Everest is officially opened on 13 May 2026, following the successful summit by Nepal’s Sherpa rope-fixing team and the completion of fixed-line installation from Base Camp to the summit.

The Autumn 2026 Manaslu Expedition season became one of the most challenging recent climbing seasons on Nepal's eighth-highest mountain. Mount Manaslu, standing at 8,163 metres (26,781 ft), attracted a record-scale field of international climbers and Nepali high-altitude support personnel. Reports placed the number of foreign climbing permits at 466 by 17 September, while subsequent reporting cited approximately 480–493 foreign climbers, depending on the date and counting method.

On 11 October 2026, Xtreme Climbers Treks & Expeditions Pvt. Ltd. officially begins the SWISS Upper Mustang, Teri La Pass (5,595m) and Nar–Phu Trek 2026 Autumn Expedition. This 22-day Himalayan journey combines ancient mountain culture, remote settlements, spectacular landscapes, and the challenge of crossing one of Nepal’s less-travelled high-altitude passes.
